The basis of the “Thrift and Home Ownership” comes from the TBLA’s initial mandate and why the friendly society was formed.

It is written in French: “Quittez Loyer Ou Payer Pour Cai Ou” which means “Let your rent pay for your home“.

The basis of “Thrift” is based on the premise that you can use your money and resources wisely, leading to home ownership. It means that individuals can use the same money which they would have paid in rent and invest it to “own their home“, where they will have equity and can afford to use the “equity” for other financial goals.
